Youtube's story

YouTube is a video sharing site in the United States and is based in San Bruno, California. This service was created by three former employees of PayPal - Chad Hurley, Steve Chen and Javed Kareem - in February 2005. Google bought the site in November 2006 at $ 1.65 billion, and now YouTube has become a subsidiary of Google.

YouTube allows users to upload, watch, share, share, comment on, comment, and share with others. It offers a wide range of multimedia videos created by users and businesses. Available content includes videos, videos, music videos, short films, documentaries, sound recordings, videos, live movies, and other content such as videos, original short videos, and educational videos. Most of the content on YouTube is downloaded by people, although media organizations such as CBS, Facebook, Vivo and Hulu offer some content through YouTube in the YouTube Partnership Program. Unregistered users can watch only videos on the site, while registered users can upload an unlimited number of videos and add comments to the videos. Videos that are probably inappropriate are only available to registered users who claim to be 18 years or older.

YouTube generates ad revenue through Google Adsense, a program that targets ads based on the content of the site and its audience. The vast majority of their videos are free, but there are exceptions, including premium subscription channels, movie rentals, YouTube and Red, a subscription service that provides access without advertising and access to exclusive content content with existing users. In February of 2017, more than 400 hours of content on YouTube were downloaded every minute, and one billion hours of content was watched on YouTube every day. In August 2017, Alexpa Internet, a company analyzing web traffic, ranked second among the most popular sites in the world.
